Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • Reservation deposit: €1,000 per participant

  • Refunds: Ferry tickets, motorcycle transport, visas, and any third-party services already paid are non-refundable.

  • Refund deadline: Any eligible cancellations must be requested at least 60 days prior to departure.

Ride Your Motorcycle Through Some of the Most Beautiful Places on Earth

The Georgian Military Highway, the Pamir Highway, Samarkand, Bukhara, Almaty, Chechnya, the Caucasus, and the legendary Ak-Baital Pass (4,655 m)…

These are just some of the great milestones and myths of overland adventure travel — and we are going to explore them together.

We propose an extraordinary journey along some of the most iconic routes linking Europe and Asia.

Starting in Barcelona, we take a ferry to Greece and continue to Istanbul (Turkey). From there, we cross the most fascinating regions of Turkey into Georgia, whose interior we will explore in depth.

Continuing through southern Russia, near the mouth of the Volga River, we ride towards the legendary destinations of the Silk Road, before tackling the Pamir Highway in Tajikistan, the second highest paved road in the world, on our way to our final destination: Almaty, the former capital of Kazakhstan.

Rest Days

We will have 4 rest days, scheduled strategically depending on the route, locations, and group needs.

These rest days allow time to:

  • explore historic Silk Road cities

  • recover physically

  • perform motorcycle maintenance

  • and fully experience the journey

Travel Logistics

The return transport of the motorcycles is scheduled to begin in the second week of September (it is still too early to confirm the exact date). Transit time to Spain is estimated at 15 to 20 days.

FOSIL Expedition Services can organise all additional logistics not included in the BCN–ALA package, including insurance, flights, and motorcycle transport. Please contact us for personalised assistance.

Rider Requirements

For a journey of this nature and complexity, participants should have the qualities that will allow them to fully enjoy this unique adventure:

  • Patience, essential when dealing with the unexpected situations that are part of any overland journey (borders, breakdowns, delays, etc.)

  • Empathy and team spirit, to share the experience with fellow riders

  • Good humour and a positive attitude

  • Physical and mental endurance, required for long riding days and off-road sections

  • Intermediate off-road riding skills
    (tracks are generally in good condition, but experience is necessary)

  • Adaptability, to handle changes and circumstances beyond the original plan

  • A true desire to live and enjoy life, embracing a 10,000 km adventure across 10 countries
