The Route

Day 1: Flight to Bari and Ferry Crossing

We meet in Bari and take the overnight ferry to Durrës, the gateway to Albania and the true start of our adventure.

Day 2: Durrës – Podgorica (Albania → Montenegro)

We ride from the Albanian coast to the Montenegrin capital through hills, valleys, and scenic secondary roads far from the main tourist routes.

Leaving the coast behind, we head north through rural landscapes and agricultural areas before climbing into the mountains.

We cross into Montenegro via winding mountain roads and pass Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans.

Podgorica offers a welcome rest before heading deeper into the mountains.

Day 3: Podgorica – Žabljak

We head straight into the heart of Montenegro along some of the country’s most spectacular mountain roads.

We ride through tunnels carved into rock cliffs and alongside dramatic river canyons.

Entering Durmitor National Park, we reach the Tara River Canyon, the deepest canyon in Europe.

Žabljak is the gateway to this extraordinary natural region.

Day 4: Žabljak – Mostar (Montenegro → Bosnia-Herzegovina)

One of the most spectacular stages of the expedition.

We descend through winding mountain roads, turquoise reservoirs, and dramatic landscapes before crossing into Bosnia.

Arrival in Mostar, famous for its iconic Stari Most bridge, a symbol of the region’s Ottoman heritage.

Explore its historic centre, cobbled streets, and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 5: Mostar – Sarajevo

A stunning ride through the Dinaric Alps towards Bosnia’s fascinating capital.

We follow the Neretva River, passing traditional villages and mountain scenery.

Arrival in Sarajevo, a vibrant multicultural city where East meets West.

Explore the historic Baščaršija district and experience its unique atmosphere.

Day 6: Sarajevo – Novi Pazar (Bosnia → Serbia)

We cross into Serbia via remote mountain roads and scenic valleys.

Arrival in Novi Pazar, a city rich in Ottoman and medieval heritage.

Enjoy traditional Serbian cuisine and authentic Balkan culture.

Day 7: Novi Pazar – Prizren (Serbia → Kosovo)

A spectacular mountain stage to one of the most beautiful cities in the Balkans.

Arrival in Prizren, known for its historic architecture and vibrant old town.

Day 8: Prizren – Durrës and Ferry (Kosovo → Albania)

Final riding stage through one of Albania’s most impressive mountain roads.

A perfect finale with spectacular scenery and unforgettable riding.

Overnight ferry.

Day 9: Return Flight to Spain

End of expedition.
